Jan Snel, PhD

Jan Snel, PhD, is guest lecturer at the Department of Psychology of the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.  His attention concerns the role of psychoactive substances (alcohol and caffeine) on mood, pleasure and cognitive processes, health and functioning.  One of his goals is to inform the public and scientists on the importance of pleasure and happiness for health and well-being.  He is the author of many scientific and popular-scientific articles and books in this field.
