Giogio Calabrese, has MD degree as well as advanced degree in Human Nutrition. Since 1994, Dr. Calabrese has lectured at Catholic University of Piacenza and at the University of Turin.
He is a member of the European Food Safety Authority in Brussels, and is on the National Board of Agriculture of the Minister of Italian Agriculture and the National Board of Health for Children Nutrition.
He is an active member of the New York Academy of Science, the American Diabetes Association, the American Association for Advancement of Science, and OIV. Dr. Calabrese is a Scientific Journalist for the National Scientific Television (RAI), has published extensively in the scientific and lay press on food and health.
