Imke Janssen, PhD, is in the Department of Preventive Medicine, Rush University Medical Centre, Chicago, IL, USA. She is a biostatistician by training and an epidemiologist in practice. She received her PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, and has been on the faculty of Rush University for 12 years.
Dr. Janssen works primarily on longitudinal observational studies as well as clinical trials. She is particularly interested in how psychosocial factors and a healthy lifestyle protect women against developing cardiovascular disease.
